German Gabriel renewed his agreement to play centre with Estudiantes for the 2012-13 season, with the option of adding an additional year. Gabriel averaged 12.7 points and 6.5 rebounds per game last season. Prior to turning professional he played for the Spanish National team at the U18, U20 and U21 levels.
