Marcus Fizer moves to Defensor

Marcus Fizer (203 cm, Iowa State’00) has inked a deal with Uruguayan LUB outfit Defensor Sporting Club Montevideo the club announced. The American has long been associated with South American Basketball but has never actually hit the hardwood in Uruguay. He already has court action through 2014/2015 playing for Barreteros de Zacatecas in the Mexican LNBP, where the power forward played five games and impressed with averages of 18.6 points and 11.6 rebounds per game.

Marcus Fizer has previously played in Argentine, Venezuela, Bahrain, Taiwan, Puerto Rico, and Spain. He is however, best known for his time in the NBA, particularly with the Chicago Bulls over five seasons, as well as the Milwaukee Bucks.
