Sam Young (198 cm, Pittsburgh’09) has agreed to terms with Halcones UV Xalapa from Mexico’s LNBP and will be joining the team this 2015. The former NBA forward began the 2014/15 season playing for Pasta Reggia JuveCaserta (Italy-SerieA) where he played 11 games and recorded averages of 22.2 ppg and 7.2 rpg. He left the club in December 2014 and was originally set to play for the Vaqueros de Bayamon (Puerto Rico-BSN), but instead will be headed to Mexico.
He played for Vaqueros de Bayamon back in 2014. In 39 games he was third in the league in scoring with 19.9 ppg and was able to 7.8 rpg.
