Robert Hornsby heads to Aguada

Robert HornsbyRobert Hornsby (201 cm, Troy’05) will continue his relationship with Latin American Basketball this season after signing for Atletico Aguada (Uruguay, LUB). The experienced forward has spent his entire professional career in Latin America, mostly in Mexico and Argentina, but this will be his first post in Uruguay. The 32-year old is coming off a season in Mexico, where he started the 2013/2014 campaign with Pioneros Cancun and ended it with Zonkeys de Tijuana.

With Pioneros the American played 55 games in the LNBP and averaged 13.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.5 steals per game. During the summer he took to the hardwood in fifteen games for Zonkeys in the CIBACOPA and turned in numbers of 14.1 points, 6.2 boards, 3.9 dimes, and 1.3 steals per game.

A seasoned player, Robert Hornsby will not begin his stay in Uruguayan Basketball.
