Lebanese club Champville (Division A) has recently released Mohamed Kone (211 cm, Valparaiso’06) after signing him early this 2014-15. Kone is a 33-year-old French-Ivorian player who has been a member of the Ivory Coast national team from 2009-13. Mohamed played just three games for Champville and averaged 3.3 ppg and 4.7 rpg.
He played in the Iranian Superleague in 2013-14 for Sanaye Petrochimi Mahshahr. In 21 games Mohamed averaged a solid double-double with 15.0 ppg and 12.1 rpg. In 2012-13 Kone played for Foolad Mahan Esfahan (Iran-Superleague) and he was able to produce averages of 8.1 ppg and 8.2 rpg.
