Jeremis Smith moves back to Aguada

Jeremis Smith

Jeremis Smith (203 cm, Georgia Tech’08) is making a return to Uruguay’s Atletico Aguada this 2013-14. He has started the 2013-14 season playing for Fuerza Regia Monterrey from Mexico’s LNBP. He was able to log seven games for them before this move and posted averages of 15.4 ppg and 7.1 rpg.

In 2012-13 Smith was again in Mexico’s LNBP playing for the Pioneros de Quintana Roo-Cancun. In 25 games he averaged 12.4 ppg. In February 2013 he joined Atletic Aguada and played 16 games for them, averaging 12.5 ppg and 9.9 rpg, helping them win the Ururguay LUB Championship in 2013. So his familiarity with both the league and the team may have been a factor in his finding his way back.
