Jaime Smith signed by Liege Basket

Jaime Smith (191 cm, Alabama-Huntsville’13) has been picked up by Liege Basket (Belgium-Scooore League) and will be joining the club for the 2015/16 season. Smith spent the 2014/15 season playing for Fribourg Olympic (Switzerland-LNA). In 34 games Smith was able to put together averages of 15.3 ppg and 4.7 apg.

During his rookie year as a pro he started the campaign with Quilmes Mar del Plata in the Argentine LigaA, but left before the season started. The American later moved to Lusitania EXPERT in the Portugal LPB where he had a fantastic season.

In 28 games for Lusitania Jaime Smith secured averages of 21.1 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 5.5 dimes per game. His scoring exploits were enough to make him the second best point’s gatherer in the Portuguese league.
