A.J. Slaughter pens deal with Panathinaikos

A.J. Slaughter (191 cm, Western Kentucky’10) is headed to Greece this coming 2014-15 season to play for Panathinaikos Athens. Slaughter, who has spent the last couple of seasons playing in the French Pro A is in for a change in scenery. In 2013-14 he suited up for ES Chalon-Sur-Saone (France-ProA). He played 10 games for them in the Eurocup and averaged 17.1 ppg and 4.6 apg. A.J. also logged a total of 33 games in the domestic French Pro A league and there he posted averages of 17.7 ppg and 4.5 apg. His strong play during the season got him selected as a participant in French Pro A All-Star Game in 2014.
