Esteban Batista to Chongqing Fly Dragon

Esteban Batista (208 cm) will continue his professional career this 2015/16 with Chinese club Chongqing Fly Dragon (CBA). Batista is a 31-year-old Uruguayan player who also holds a Spanish passport.  He has been a long-time member of the Uruguayan national team from 2003 up to the present. Esteban played for 2015 Greek Cup winner Panathinaikos Athens (Greece-A1) in the 2014/15 season. In 26 games in the Turkish Airlines Euroleague, the big man delivered averages of 10.2 ppg and 5.5 rpg. In the domestic Greek league, he managed to produce averages of 12.8 ppg and 6.9 rpg.
