D.J. Kennedy picked up by Gravelines

D.J. Kennedy

French ProA team BCM Gravelines Dunkerque Grand Littoral has added D.J. Kennedy (198 cm, St. John’s’11) for the 2013-14 season. Kennedy initially spent the 2013-14 preseason with the Dallas Mavericks, but was unfortunately released by the team.

He spent the 2012-13 season in the NBA D-League. First, he was again on a preseason try-out with an NBA team. This time it was with the Memphis Grizzlies. When that did not pan out, he was signed with the Eerie Bay Hawks from the D-League. There he was able to post averages of 18.8 ppg and 8.3 rpg over 35 games. Kennedy later transferred to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers where averaged 14.3 ppg and 7.1 rpg in 20 games.
