CamRon Clay departs Montevideo BC

CamRon ClayCamRon Clay (203 cm, Chicago State’07) is leaving South America after ending his stay at Montevideo Basket Ball Club (Uruguay, LUB). The American signed for the club in the summer and has already taken to the court in nine games with averages of 11.3 points and 6.1 rebounds per game. Clay has also been on the books at Patriotas de Tunja in the Colombian DirecTV Liga this season, but left the club before inking with Montevideo BC.

The power forward suited up for Pioneros de Los Mochis in the Mexican CIBACOPA earlier this year. He played 34 games and impressed with averages of 15.4 points and 7.4 boards per game. CamRom Clay is well travelled and has played in Chile and Switzerland in previous seasons through his career, but has spent the majority of his time in Mexico.
