Barreteros of Mexico make a pre-season display of talent

The Barreteros from the city of Zacatecas, Mexico made their first appearance, playing for fans in a pre-season game. They were the masters of the game, controlling all of the action.

The team’s coach, Andrés Contreras, or using his nickname, Poison, stuck to a tight defensive game that exhausted the American Moose Tour Team and left them surprised by the defensive change ups and difficult-to-predict strategy.

Every period was won by the players from Zacatecas. By half-time, it was visible to all that the visiting team simply was outmatched. The Moose staggered into the locker room trailing 26 to 46.

The second half went even worse for the visitors, the Zacatecans cutting off the Moose’s antlers and sending them back to their native habitat. The final score was 93-66.

The fans from Zacatecas were very happy with their team and are pumped up for what looks to be a fun and exciting season.
