Aleksandar Pavlovic joins Panathinaikos

Aleksandar Pavlovic (200 cm) will be among the rebuilding process at Greek powerhouse Panathinaikos Athens (A1 and Euroleague) after signing for the club. The Montenegrin will be bringing his vast NBA experience to The Greens as the club looks to get over a poor 2014/2015 campaign. Aleksandar Pavlovic played for Partizan NIS Belgrade in three competitions last season, it was his second season with the Serbian giant.

Over eleven KLS games the swingman averaged 10.1 points and 3.5 rebounds per game. He also played international tournaments, featuring in two Eurocup games and averaging 7.0 points per game, and then collecting 11.9 points and 3.7 boards over nineteen Adriatic League contests.

Aleksandar Pavlovic has spent much of his career in the NBA, where he signed several multi-million dollar contract for franchises such as the Utah Jazz, Cleveland Cavaliers, Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks, Boston Celtics, and Portland Trail Blazers.
