Zvonko Buljan leaving Kormend

Zvonko Buljan

Zvonko Buljan (206 cm, Texas Christian University’10) has opted to exercise a buyout clause he had in his agreement with Lami-Ved Kormend (Hungary-A Division) so he can move to Keravnos (Cyprus-Division A) after the first of the year. The move will create a difficult hole in the Kormend line-up that they’ll have to find a replacement for as Buljan has been leading the team in points and rebounds, contributing 20.8 points and 7.4 rebounds per game over the 11 Hungarian League games he’s suited up for and 21.7ppg and 7.3rpg in six EuroChallenge contests. Last season he wore the colors of Telekom Baskets Bonn (Germany-1.Bundesliga) and contributed 14.5ppg and 5.9rpg in 12 EuroChallenge games; and 6.8ppg and 3.6rpg in 28 German League contests. Buljan played two seasons of his collegiate career at Vincennes Junior College, before transferring to Texas Christian University. In his to seasons of NCAA competition at TCU, he averaged 12.2 points and 8.2 rebounds per game in 62 games.
