Zamal Nixon leaves Greece for Germany

Zamal Nixon (186 cm, G) will leave the Greek A1 league. Things didn’t work out between him and his team ASP Promitheas Patras. Instead, he is heading for Germany, where he will play in the Pro A (second-tier league in that country) for Science City Jena. Zamal Nixon actually started his professional career in Germany in 2012, fresh out of college. Throughout his career, he has played for a handful of different German teams at various levels. He also played in Poland, France, and Greece before. While playing in college for the University of Houston, Nixon led Conference-USA in steals (1.8 pg) and assists (4.7 pg) and was a Conference USA All-D-defensive team selection.
