Zack Rosen transfers to Maccabi Ashdod

Zack Rosen (185 cm, Pennsylvania’12) is switching teams within Israel’s Winner League. He has opted out of his two-year deal with Hapoel Migdal Jerusalem and is hopping over to rival club Maccabi Ashdod. Rosen is an American player who also carries an Israeli passport. Zack saw minimal usage in the 2013-14 Eurocup for Hapoel J-M, just averaging 2.2 ppg and 1.0 apg. He was utilized a bit more in the Israeli Winner League where he averaged 3.4 ppg and 1.6 apg.

Last season the point guard played in the Winner League and Eurochallenge while representing Hapoel Holon in Israel during what was his rookie season. In the league he played 27 games and averaged 5.6 points, 1.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.1 steals per game. The American offered slightly better averages from twelve EuroChallenge games, posting 6.8 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game.
