WNBA MVP Catchings comes to terms with Guangdong

Tamika Catchings will continue her career in China. The reigning WNBA MVP signed a one-season deal with Guangdong Dolphins. Last season the Dolphins had another US National Team forward Swin Cash.
Tamika Catchings averages 18.2 points, 7.4 rebounds and 3.1 assists with Indiana Fever. She appeared 17 times in the WNBA so far this season. Last summer Catchings had 14.8 ppg, 7.3 rpg and 3.3 apg, what was enough for the MVP award. The player missed last season in Europe due to injury. She played for Galatsaray in 2010/11 averaging 13 points, 6.9 rebounds and 3.1 assists for 11 games in Turkey. Catchings played for the same team also in 2009/10. They won two Cup trophies together and reached Turkish league Finals twice. Three years ago Tamika won the Polish league title with Lotos PKO BP Gdynia and was named Eurobasket.com All-Polish PLKK Player of the Year -09. Tamika Catchings is active member of the USA National Team since 2002.
