Willie Kemp signs with Trefl Sopot

Willie Kemp (185 cm, Memphis’10) is set to play for Polish club Trefl Sopot (TBL) this coming 2014-15 season and is already penciled in their starting lineup. Kemp began the 2013-14 season playing for CS Gaz Metan Medias (Romania-Liga Nationala). He played 11 games for them in the EuroChallenge and averaged 12.7 ppg and 5.0 apg. He logged 16 games in the Romanian league and there he produced averages of 14.6 ppg and 3.9 apg.

In February 2014 Kemp transferred to BK Ventspils from Latvia’s LBL. He was able to play in three Baltic league games and averaged 3.3 ppg and 2.7 apg. He played 16 games in the Latvian league and was able to average 7.7 ppg and 2.3 apg. Willie helped his club win the league championship in 2014.
