Willie Kemp inks with Ventsplis

Willie Kemp (188 cm, Memphis´10) will play in Latvia this season after inking a deal with BK Ventspils (Latvia, LBL and Eurochallenge). The point guard has been busy this season playing for Gaz Metan in the Romanian Liga Nacional and Eurochallenge. In the Liga Nacional the American played sixteen games and averaged 14.6 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game. Kemp also featured in eleven Eurochallenge games and recorded numbers of 12.7 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game.

During the 2012/2013 season Willie Kemp he was equally busy playing in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The 27-year old featured in 35 games for Astrum Levice at the end of last season and picked up stats of 15.2 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game.
