It did not take too long after being released by German club Medri Bayreuth, that William Conroy (187 cm, Washington’05) was able to get picked up by another team. He will apparently be remaining in the German Bundesliga, but this time will be on the roster of SC Rasta Vechta. Will played nine games for Bayreuth before departing and averaged 5.2 ppg and 3.3 apg.
Conroy had a very short 2012-13 season. He was with the Minnesota Timberwolves, but managed to play in only four games before being released by the team in November 2012. He averaged just 0.3 ppg. Conroy did not find a new team after leaving the NBA. In 2011-12 he played in the NBA’s D-League for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers and in 23 games he notched averages of 12.6 ppg and 9.0 apg.
