Will Cherry deals with ALBA Berlin

Will Cherry (185 cm, Montana’13) will be strengthening the backcourt of ALB Berlin (Germany-BBL) for the upcoming 2015/16 season. His 2014/15 season started with the Toronto Raptors, but was released by the team in October. A month later, Will signed on with the Cleveland Cavaliers. He played nine games for the Cavs and averaged 1.9 ppg and 1.0 apg. Cherry was released by Cleveland in December. Will took his game overseas and agreed to a deal with B.C. Zalgiris Kaunas (Lithuania-LKL). He played 15 games for them in the Euroleague and averaged 7.1 ppg and 1.7 apg. In 36 games in the Lithuanian league he produced averages of 6.1 ppg and 2.5 apg.
