Will Bynum (183 cm, Georgia Tech’05) is beginning a new chapter in his career as he signs a deal with the Guangdong Southern Tigers (China-CBA). He is being brought in as a replacement for Emmanuel Mudiay. Bynum was recently released by the Boston Celtics, who received him in a trade with the Detroit Pistons before the season began. The Celtics have a deep backcourt and even drafted a talented point guard in the draft. Before his trade, Bynum had spent six seasons with the Pistons. In 2013-14 he played in 56 NBA games and averaged 8.6 ppg and 3.9 apg.
