Wesley Witherspoon heads to Guaiqueries

Wesley Witherspoon (205 cm, Memphis’12) will be playing for his first Latin American team in his career as he signs with Guaiqueries de Margarita (Venezuela-LPB). The 25-year-old Witherspoon is coming over from literally half way around the world as he moves to Venezuela after starting the season playing in Japan for Bambitious Nara (Japan-BJ League). Wesley played eight games for them before his departure and averaged 9.0 ppg and 4.7 rpg.

In 2014-15 Witherspoon played for the Shimane Susanoo Magic (Japan-BJ League) and there he was able to appear in 28 games and post averages of 10.7 ppg and 4.7 rpg.
