Wesley Saunders leaves France for Italy

Wesley Saunders (196 cm, G/F) has left his French team AS Monaco (Pro A) and is signing in Italy with Fortitudo Bologna (Seria A). Saunders played seven games for Monaco but saw limited playing time, so the Italian offer was more than welcome. He already played the past two seasons in the Italian Serie A, where he did well with Vanoli Basket Cremona.

In college, Wesley Saunders played for Harvard University and was an All-Ivy League 1st Team selection in 2013 and even player of the year in 2014. In that senior year, he averaged 16.6 ppg, 6.1 rpg, and 4.3 aspg.

After college, Saunders played in the G League, Germany and Finland before he moved to Italy.
