Wesley Channels (190 cm, Austin Peay State’10) is taking his game to Belgium this 2016-17 after agreeing to terms on a deal with Kangoeroes Basket Willebroek. The 28-year-old Channels is joining the team after spending his 2015-16 season on the roster of Egis Kormend (Hungary-A Division). He played six games for them in the FIBA Europe Cup and registered averages of 13.2 ppg and 3.7 apg. Wesley also logged a total of 45 games in the domestic Hungarian league and there he managed to post averages of 15.4 ppg and 4.0 apg. In 2016 he helped his team win the Hungarian Cup and reach the Hungarian league semifinals.
