Wendell McKines (198 cm, New Mexico State’12) is headed back to Asia this 2015-16 after agreeing to terms with Dongbu Promy (South Korea-KBL). He started off the season playing in Argentina for Estudiantes Concordia (Argentina-Liga A), where he was able to put together averages of 19.3 ppg and 8.5 rpg in eight games. Before that he played in the Philippines’ PBA this 2015 as the import of the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters in the league’s Governor’s Cup. His stint lasted a total of 16 games and McKines produced averages of 30.4 ppg and 14.9 rpg. The journeyman spent the 2014/15 season playing in Israel for Elitzur Ashkelon (National League). In 18 games Wendell delivered averages of 25.8 ppg and 12.4 rpg. He has had previous contracts playing in South Korea and in France.
