Walter Herrmann switches to Flamengo

Walter Herrmann (203 cm) has made a move to Club de Regata do Flamengo, the current double champions of the Brazilian top flight NBB. The Argentine with a Spanish dual citizenship spent the 2013/2014 season wearing the colours of Atenas Cordoba in the Argentinian LigaA. The forward featured in 43 games for the club and put in a fantastic personal performance throughout the campaign. He finished as the best scorer in the league with 22.3 points per game and also added a very respectable 7.1 points per game.

Walter Herrmann is a seasoned player and during his career has played in Spain and most notably the NBA. In the National Basketball Association the 35-year old veteran played 153 games for the Charlotte Bobcats and Detroit Pistons.
