Von Wafer signs with Ponce

Von Wafer (196 cm, Florida State’05) is a recent addition to the roster of Leones de Ponce (Puerto Rico-BSN) this 2016. He will tasked to handle a big chunk of the scoring load for the team this season. The 30-year-old Wafer is coming off a two-season run playing in China. This 2015-16 Von played 28 games for Jiangsu Tongxi (China-CBA), where he produced averages of 27.6 ppg and 4.0 apg.

The former NBA guard’s 2014-15 season was spent on the roster of Shanxi Zhongyu (China-CBA). In 41 games Von was able to deliver averages of 32.5 ppg and 5.7 apg.
