Von Wafer (196 cm, Florida State’05) is joining his third team for the season after agreeing to terms with Russian club Krasny Oktyabr Volgograd. The former NBA guard was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers 39th overall in the 2005 draft. He began the 2013-14 season playing for the Shanghai Dongfang Sharks (China-CBA). Wafer played just five games for the Sharks before moving to the NBA D-League’s Bakersfield Jam in January 2014. In those five games he put up averages of 27.0 ppg and 6.6 rpg. Before his departure, Von managed to play in five games for the Jam. In his brief stint, he averaged 14.6 ppg and 2.6 apg.
