Former NBA guard, Von Wafer (196 cm, Florida State’05) is a recent addition to the roster of the Jilin Northeast Tigers (China-CBA) this 2017. Wafer spent his recent pro career with a couple of Chinese teams, just a taking a break in 2016-17 for a stint in the NBA D-League and a four-game run with the Leones de Ponce (Puerto Rico-BSN). He played for two NBA D-League teams last season. Wafer played five games for the Delaware 87ers and averaged 7.4 ppg and 2.4 rpg. In December 2016, he moved to the Westchester Knicks, where he logged 26 games and recorded averages of 15.9 ppg and 2.8 rpg.
