Vitaly Fridzon’s Olympic Bronze Medal is Stolen

According to Russian media, the bronze medal won by Vitaly Fridzon, as part of the Russian basketball team, in the 2012 Olympics in London, was stolen on Saturday.

According to the Russia Ministry of Internal Affairs, the police were called to a Moscow suburb to check on a report that the apartment of a 27-year-old man, later confirmed to be Fridzon, had been broken into. Reported missing were two Swiss watches, a notebook, a mobile phone, a camera, an iPod and a bronze Olympic Medal.
