Viacheslav Kravtsov to Foshan Long Lions

Viacheslav Kravtsov

The Foshan Long Lions from China’s CBA has landed the services of Ukrainian big man Viacheslav Kravtsov (211 cm) and he will reinforce the team’s frontcourt this 2014-15 season. Viacheslav has been a member of the Ukrainian national team since 2006 and recently represented his country at the recent FIBA World Cup 2014. His NBA career ended in 2013-14 and quite uneventfully at that. He began the season with the Detroit Pistons, but during the pre-season Kravtsov was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks when the Pistons made a play for Brandon Jennings. Soon after, the center was shipped off to the Phoenix Suns where he was barely utilized. He played 19 games but averaged just 1.1 ppg. He was waived in March 2014.
