Vernon Goodridge to play in Turkey

Vernon Goodridge (206 cm, La Salle’09) is set to join Yesilgiresun Belediye from Turkey’s TB2L. Goodridge recently left Khimik-OPZ Yuzny from Ukraine’s Superleague in March 2013, where he spent most of the 2012-13 season. He played 11 games for them in the EuroChallenge and averaged 5.8 ppg and 3.9 rpg. The 27-year-old played 32 games for Khimik in the Ukrainian Superleague and averaged 9.0 ppg and 6.1 rpg. He even showcased his athleticism and dunking prowess as he made it as a Finalist in the Ukrainian Superleauge All-Star Game Slam Dunk Contest in 2012.
