Tyshawn Abbott joins Nea Kifisia

Tyshawn Abbott (192 cm, Arizona State’12) has agreed to terms with AE Nea Kifisia Athens (Greece-A1) for the rest of the season. This will be Abbott’s third team in 2014/15. He began with Credito di Romagna Forli (Italy-A2 Gold) where he played seven games and averaged 16.0 ppg and 3.1 rpg. In December 2014 Tyshawn switched to Eskisehir Basket from Turkey’s TBL. He managed to play six games for them and averaged 2.5 ppg and 1.3 rpg.

In 2013/14 he played for BC Kalev/Cramo Tallinn (Estonia-KML). In a dozen VTB United League games he averaged 15.6 ppg and 3.1 rpg, while in nine Eurocup games he recorded averages of 10.3 ppg and 3.6 rpg. In the domestic Estonian league, Abbott averaged 8.7 ppg and 2.4 rpg in 13 games.
