It didn’t take too long. A few days after it was announced that Tyrone Brazelton (185 cm, Western Kentucky’08) signed a deal to play for Iran’s Petrochimi (Superleague), now there seems to be a turn of events. Brazelton is now headed to Lithuania’s LKL to play for Nevezis Kedainiai.
Tyrone is expected to come in and be Nevezis’ starting point guard and will be directing traffic for the team. The 27-year-old American is coming off a 24-game stint with BC Odessa from Ukraine’s Superleague where he averaged 12.5 ppg and 4.8 apg. He transferred there in November 2012, after logging nine games in the German ProA league where he suited up for the Nuerenberger Basketball Club and averaged 18.9 ppg and 4.9 apg.
