Tyren Johnson signed by Lavrio

Tyren Johnson (202 cm, University of Louisiana’10) is a recent addition to the roster of GS Lavrio (Greece-A1) this 2016-17. The 28-year-old Johnson began the 2015-16 season with Usak Sportlif (Turkey-BSL), but in December 2015 the forward headed off to Asia. Tyren landed a deal to play for the Kyoto Hannaryz (Japan-BJ League). He appeared in a total of 36 games for his former club and recorded averages of 16.9 ppg and 7.9 rpg.

Johnson spent his 2014-15 season playing for Okapi Aalstar (Belgium-Scooore League). He played 34 games in the Belgian league and averaged 12.8 ppg and 5.2 rpg. He also played nine games in the EuroChallenge and there he posted averages of 14.7 ppg and 6.1 rpg.
