Turkish Airlines Euroleague 2015/2016 draw

The 2015/2016 Turkish Airlines Euroleague draw has been made in Barcelona today, so we know which teams will put their wits against each other in the group stages. There are a few new names amongst the familiar clubs of the Euroleague, and interestingly there will be no derby games through the group phase next season. We will have to wait until the Top 16 before seeing any country specific feuds.

With opening night tipping off in October, the 24 teams still have plenty of time to get their houses and rosters in order before the start of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague. Next season’s Final Four will be held in Berlin, where Spanish giant Real Madrid will be hoping to still be around to defend its title.

Sixteen teams will progress from the group phase and reach the Top 16, where they will be split into two groups of eight. Eight teams will then progress to the playoffs after 14 gruelling Top 16 rounds, before the winning four teams in the first knock-out phase will face off in the showpiece final four.
