Travis Watson signs with Vanoli Cremona

Travis Watson (202 cm, Virginia’03) will get a fresh start with Vanoli Cremona (Italy-SerieA) this upcoming 2013-14 season. Watson signed with Enisey Krasnoyarsk from Russia’s PBL in August 2012, but the contract was terminated after the pre-season when he failed a medical examination.

He last played a full season in 2010-11 when he was playing for B.C. Zalgiris Kaunas from Lithuania’s LKL. He played nine games for them in the VTB United League and averaged 9.2 ppg and 6.9 rpg. Watson logged three games in the Baltic League and was able to average 7.7 ppg and 4.3 rpg. In 15 games in the Euroleague he hit averages of 6.6 ppg and 4.7 rpg. Finally, in the Lithuanian league he notched averages of 6.1 ppg and 4.3 rpg.
