Martin returns to Roanne

Torrell Martin (196 cm, Winthrop’07) will return to Chorale de Roanne Basket in the French ProA next season it has been announced. The swingman will be planning on staying longer than his first stint with the club when he played just five games during this campaign. Martin joined the club in January and averaged 6.4 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game over his short spell.

The American had a busy 2013/2014 season in French Basketball ProA as he played for four clubs during the course of the year. Torrell Martin started the campaign with Entente Orleans 45 before moving to Sharks Antibes where he played eleven games and averaged 6.1 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. He left Antibes for Roanne and later played for Pau-Lacq-Orthez and BC Orchies (ProB).

Torell Martin has previously played in Poland, Turkey, Greece, and Germany.
