Torey Thomas cut by MZT Skopje

KK MZT Skopje Aerodrom (FYR Macedonia-Prva Liga) has parted ways with American guard Torey Thomas (178 cm, Holy Cross’07) this 2016. He was able to play three games for them this 2016-17 season and was able to average 3.3 ppg and 4.0 apg. He is now a free agent and will be looking for a new team.

The 31-year-old veteran guard spent the 2015-16 season on the roster of Rosa Radom (Poland-TBL). He played a dozen games for them in the FIBA Europe Cup and produced averages of 11.3 ppg and 4.3 apg. Thomas also appeared in a total of 43 games in the domestic Polish league and there he posted averages of 12.0 ppg and 4.5 apg. He helped his team win the Polish Cup and reach the finals of both the Polish league and the Polish Supercup in 2016.
