Tony Weeden (183 cm, Chicago State´05) will depart Polish TBL club Stabill Jezioro Tarnobrzeg next week after being with the club for one month. The American will leave the team on January 11th after the home game against Asseco Gdynia. The shooting guard linked up with Tarnobrzeg early in December as a replacement for Chase Simon (198 cm, Detroit Mercy´12) and has played just three games. However, over those three appearances the 30-year old has impressed with averages of 17.7 points and 2.7 rebounds per game.
Last season Tony Weeden played for Anwil Wloclawek (TBL) where he played 42 games and averaged 10.4 points and 2.1 rebounds per game. He has spent much of his career in Poland but has also played in Canada, Greece, and Italy.
