Tomas Dimsa joins Fraport Skyliners

Tomas Dimsa (195 cm) will continue his professional career this 2015/16 as a member of the Fraport Skyliners Frankfurt (Germany-BBL). Tomas is a 21-year-old Lithuanian player who will be playing in Germany’s premier league for the first time. He spent the last couple of seasons on the roster of B.C. Zalgiris Kaunas from his home Lithuania’s LKL. In 2014/15 Dimsa played in nine Turkish Airlines Euroleague games for his former team and averaged 1.6 ppg and 1.o rpg. In 37 games in the domestic Lithuanian league he posted averages of 6.1 ppg and 1.7 rpg. Tomas is still young, at only 21 years of age, and still has a lot of room to improve. The German Bundesliga will be a challenging yet educational forum for him to sharpen his skills.
