Tomas Delininkaitis agrees with Riga

Tomas Delininkaitis (190 cm) will bring his experience to VEF Riga (Latvia, VTB, LBL and Euroleague) after penning a one year deal with the club. The veteran guard will join the club in a bid to strengthen the backcourt and the 32-year old will look to build on a solid season during 2012/2013. The Lithuanian played in the Ukraine Superleague last season for Cherkasy Monkeys over 31 games and was in good form. Over the campaign he notched averages of 13.4 points and 2.8 rebounds per game.

Tomas Delininkaitis last played Euroleague Basketball during the 2011/2012 season for Zalgiris Kaunas in his native Lithuania. That season he played sixteen games in Europe´s top club competition and picked up 5.6 points per game. Delininkaitis has played extensively in Lithuania, but as also played in the Spanish ACB.
