Thomas Scrubb (198 cm) has signed on to join the Giessen 46ers (Germany-BBL) for the upcoming 2016-17 season. Scrubb is a British-Canadian player who was a member of the Canadian national team in 2014. The 24-year-old Scrubb recently concluded his rookie season as a pro, which he spent on the roster of Joensuun Kataja Basket (Finland-Korisliiga) in 2015-16. He played a dozen games for them in the FIBA Europe Cup and averaged 12.3 ppg and 8.1 rpg. Thomas was also able to log a total of 40 games in the domestic Finnish league and there the player registered averages of 14.1 ppg and 7.5 rpg.
