Thomas Abercrombie links with Buyukcekmece

Thomas Abercrombie (198 cm, Washington State’08) has secured a deal to play for Demir Insaat Buyukcekmece Basket in the Turkish BSL this season. The New Zealand international has been on home turf so far this campaign playing for the New Zealand Breakers in the Australian NBL. Thomas Abercrombie has a long association with the franchise, but in this off season he will play for Buykcekmece.

During the campaign with the Breakers, the forwards has featured in a total of 21 games and secured averages of 11.9 points and 5.1 rebounds per game.

The 30-year old has played in Turkey before for BSL outfit Pinar Karsiyaka Izmir. Over eleven contests he reeled in numbers of 10.2 points and 3.7 boards per game.
