Terry Smith signed by Cherkasy Monkeys

Terry Smith (185 cm, Mercyhurst’08) is joining SK Cherkasy Monkeys from Ukraine (Superleague). Smith spent the 2012-13 season in Bulgaria, playing for Rilski Sportist Samokov (NBL). He led the Balkan league in scoring with 18.8 ppg and in steals with 1.6 spg, propelling his team all the way to the league’s Semifinals this 2013. In 33 games in the Bulgarian league Smith was able to average 17.2 ppg and 2.8 apg.

In 2011-12 he played for BBC Monthey from Switzerland’s LNA. There he averaged 16.2 ppg, 2.8 apg, and 1.8 spg in 34 games.
