Former NBA swingman Terrence Williams (198 cm, Louisville’09) has found his way to Turkey, signing with Turk Telekom Ankara (TBL). He was drafted by the New Jersey Nets, 11th overall in the 2009 NBA Draft. He’s had a rocky time in the NBA, with his maturity and work ethic being questioned at one point.

He began under contract with the Detroit Pistons in the 2012-13 season but was released by the team in October 2012. The next month he signed in China with the Guangdong Southern Tigers (CBA). He logged 29 games in the Chinese league and averaged 17.9 ppg and 3.4 rpg. He was later called back to the NBA by the Boston Celtics in February 2013. Williams played 29 games in Bean Town and averaged 4.0 ppg and 1.9 rpg.
