Taylor Darby set to begin pro career in Israel

Taylor DarbyTaylor Darby has agreed to terms with Hapoel Yokneam/Megido (Israel-National League) on his first professional contract since graduating from Pepperdine University. Darby (2.03m, college: Pepperdine University) played in 125 games in his four-years at Pepperdine, starting in 111. He finished his collegiate career with 997 points, averaging 8.0 points and 5.9 rebounds in 25.8 minutes per contest over those four years. As a senior he lead his squad with 12.3 points per game. He also compiled an impressive list of post-season honors as a senior: CoSIDA/Capital One Academic All-District first team pick, Division I-AAA Athletic Directors Association Scholar-Athlete, an NABC Honors Court honoree, an Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar, a WCC All-Academic first team selection (earned this award three years) and a WCC Commissioner’s Honor Roll “bronze” honors selection.
