Taurean Green heads to ASVEL

Former NBA guard Taurean Green (184 cm, Florida’07) will be taking his talents to ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (France-ProA) this 2014-15. ASVEL will be his second team from the French Pro A in as many seasons. In 2013-14 Green was on the roster of Limoges CSP Elite (France-ProA). He played in 40 games for them and averaged 9.0 ppg and 3.2 apg. Taurean gained some popularity within the league and was a participant in the French Pro A All-Star Game in 2014.

Green played for Sigma Barcellona from Italy’s Lega Due Gold in the 2012-13 season. In 31 games Taurean averaged 12.4 ppg and 4.7 apg. He helped Sigma Barcellona finish atop of the Lega Due Gold standings at the end of the regular season in 2013.
