Taj Finger (205 cm, Stanford’08) has signed with Niigata Albirex (Japan-BJ League). He’s moving to the new club from Oita Heat Devils, also of the BJ League in Japan, where he spent the first eight games of the season and the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons. During the eight games this season he averaged 13.1ppg, 5.6rpg and 3.3apg. In 2011-12 he contributed 12.9ppg and 7.1rpg. He was a four-year member of the Stanford basketball team, playing 126 games in those four years and carrying a 4.1ppg average. The Cardinals competed in the NCAA Tournament three years while Finger was with them, two years getting ousted in the first round, but in 2008 they won their first two games before losing to Texas in the South Regional Semi-Final.
